What began as a personal quest to reduce toxins in our home has evolved into a platform where we share insights, experiences, and practical tips to help others do the same. We don’t have products, workbooks, courses or books (yet). We might not ever will, we don’t know. We just think, for now, we want document and share what we’ve been learning and hope it is of help to you.
Our Story
The last couple of years we had started paying more attention to the day to day exposure of chemicals. It actually started with water testing and quality of water. There was an incident for a day or 2 where we were advised to not drink the water, as you can imagine the water on day 3 still looked brown. So we started researching (on EWG) what the water quality was in our town and honestly, that started it all. Not long after we got the Reverse Osmosis Water Filter and we started incrementally changing things around. It really started accelerating when we got pregnant and were much more motivated and aware. Suddenly, any regular product started to get the ‘is this pregnancy safe’ procedure. The interesting thing is that a lot of products are not pregnancy safe. Which triggers the question, if it’s not pregnancy safe how come it’s safe for the adult. Motivated by a desire for better health and well-being, we began researching and replacing items in our home with non-toxic alternatives. As we navigated this path, we realized the importance of sharing our findings to assist others facing similar concerns.
